FAQ

  • You’re free to dress however you’re comfortable. Maybe the closest analogy for how most people dress is whatever they personally would wear to go out for a coffee at a local café.

  • We reserve a number of spots in our carpark on site for guests and new people. After the carpark fills up, people use street parking on New Line Road.

  • Definitely not! Whatever labels you identify with, we’d be delighted to have you.

  • You’ll enter a foyer where members of the service will greet you and invite you to fill in your name on a tablet to get a name tag. If this is your first time, you’ll have the option to leave more details so that a staff member can send you a greeting message during the week.

  • Absolutely – and so is any noise that comes with them! We have a creche adjacent to our auditorium for parents to use should they wish, and our 9:30am service has a children’s program for toddlers and preschoolers, grades K-5, and grades 6-8.

  • There’s no allocated seating. A number of our parents with small children like to sit towards the back on the right, where there is a space and collection of toys, but everyone is free to sit where they are comfortable.

  • The service will start at the advertised time with a welcome, followed by some songs with lyrics on screens. We’ll have some announcements about things happening in our church community, readings from the Bible, a Bible talk (usually done by a staff member) that will go for 20-25 minutes, followed by some prayers and songs. On the first Sunday of the month we’ll also have Communion (also known as the Lord’s Supper) together. This is a symbolic meal of a piece of bread and small cup of grape juice that reminds followers of Jesus that he died to give them life.

  • Our services will start at their advertised time (7:45am, 9:30am, 11:30 or 6pm) and usually go for 70 minutes, give or take.

  • After the service, people are invited to stay for morning tea (or supper) and chat with each other. At the morning services this morning tea is served in the halls (adjacent to the auditorium), or on the “Church Green” outside. At the 6pm service, plates of food are brought into the auditorium and offered to people where they are standing or seated. Some people choose to leave immediately after the service, while some might stay for over an hour.
